ESG provides consultancy services for specialized works and technologies adopted for Repair/Rehabilitation of Concrete structures. These two terms i.e. repair and retrofitting are used for almost any type of structural improvement. A distress structure is repaired to cater for the original designed parameters such as superimposed loading and earthquake zone of construction. The term retrofitting literally means something which has been later added to provide for the current designed standards. ESG undertakes consultancy services for both repair and retrofitting works depending on whether designed loading have been changed or the structure requires some strengthening which is done by repairs. Various techniques adopted include pressure grouting, guniting, epoxy resins, jacketing, post tensioning, etc.
