Longitudinal and Lateral Compressometers (AIM 372, AIM 373) Ref Stds : IS 4031/9459, ASTM C 490, Bs 1881
Longitudinal Compressometer is used for determination of strain & deformation characteristics of cement concrete cylindrical specimens of 150 mm dia x 300 mm long while Lateral is used for determination of lateral extension of 150 X 300 mm dia specimen.
