Our CEO - Mr. Arvind Verma has been conferred with "Amity Leadership Award 2009" by Amity Business School at the 5th Global Leadership Summit” organized by them, at their Noida Complex, on 19th September 2009. It has been awarded for sectoral excellence in Instrumentation and Technology.

H C Verma Memorial Award

H C Verma - AIMIL Fellowship

H C Verma - AIMIL Distinguished Fellowship

H C Verma Memorial Award

The H C Verma Memorial Award has been instituted by AIMIL Ltd. in 2007 - its Platinum (75th )Year - in memory of its Managing Director, late Mr H.C. Verma.
The Award is given annually to a researcher or a practitioner in the age group close to 40 years for demonstrating excellence in his / her field in the broad areas of instrumentation, science and technology. To begin with, the focus areas are: civil engineering, construction and infrastructure development with emphasis on field applications.
The Awardee is selected by a process of nominations. The nominations are screened by AIMIL and finally selected by an Award Committee.
The Award is presented to one or two recipients each year.
The Award Committee comprises of persons of eminence in the areas of instrumentation, science and technology. It is constituted by AIMIL.
Nominations for the award are invited once every year by AIMIL from a specific set of persons, including past Awardees, Heads of Institutions, others. In addition, those closely associated with AIMIL also send their nominations at any time during the year.
The Award is suitably advertised in the media. It is presented at the Annual Day of AIMIL or at a suitable Conference / Seminar in the area of activity of the Awardee.
The Awardee receives the following:
1. A cash award of Rs 50,000/-;
2. A partial financial assistance of Rs 50,000/- for an overseas visit.
3. A Certificate
The Awardee is expected to deliver the following:

An Invited Lecture, at an event and venue decided by AIMIL;
One technical talk at regional offices of AIMIL, as organized by AIMIL.

H C Verma - AIMIL Fellowship

The H C Verma - AIMIL Fellowship has been instituted by AIMIL Ltd. in 2007 - its Platinum (75th )Year - in memory of its Managing Director, late Mr H.C.Verma.
The Fellowship is awarded for a duration of two years to a researcher or a practitioner in the age group of 40 to 50 years for making outstanding contributions at the national level in his / her field in the broad areas of instrumentation, science and technology. To begin with, the focus areas are: civil engineering, construction and infrastructure development. The emphasis is on contributions to field practice.
The Awardee is selected by a process of nominations. The nominations are screened by AIMIL and finally selected by an Award Committee.
The Fellowship is awarded once every two years. At any time, two persons may receive the fellowship concurrently.
The Award Committee comprises of persons of eminence in the areas of instrumentation, science and technology. It is constituted by AIMIL.
Nominations for the award are invited once every two years by AIMIL from a specific set of persons, including past Awardees, Heads of Institutions, others. In addition, those closely associated with AIMIL also send their nominations at any time during the year.
The recipient receives an annual grant of Rs 100,000/- (one hundred thousand) per annum which can be used for purposes such as purchase of consumables, equipment, hiring manpower, payment of honorarium, enhancement of student scholarships, travel etc. as per norms of his/her Institute and at the discretion of the Awardee. Unspent balance can be carried over and accumulated.
In addition, the Awardee receives financial support of up to Rs 100,000/- (one hundred thousand) every year for national and/or overseas travel.
The Awardee receives a Certificate.
The Awardee is expected to deliver
1. An Invited Lecture, at an event and venue decided by AIMIL;
2. One technical talk at regional offices of AIMIL, as organized by AIMIL;
3. Technical advice to AIMIL four times a year.
The fellowship is awarded after the Awardee receives the concurrence from his parent organization. Annual grant is transferred to the Institute and the travel support is reimbursed by AIMIL.

H C Verma - AIMIL Distinguished Fellowship

The H C Verma - AIMIL Distinguished Fellowship has been instituted by AIMIL Ltd. in 2007 - its Platinum (75th )Year - in memory of its Managing Director, late Mr H C Verma.
The Fellowship is awarded for a duration of three years to a researcher or a practitioner in the age group of 45 to 55 years for demonstrating leadership qualities and making outstanding contributions at the national or international level in his / her field in the broad areas of instrumentation, science and technology. To begin with, the focus areas are: civil engineering, construction and infrastructure development. The emphasis is on contributions to the practice of design, construction, monitoring and operation. The duration of the Fellowship is extendable by mutual consent.
The Awardee is selected by a process of nominations. The nominations are screened by AIMIL and finally selected by an Award Committee.
The Fellowship is awarded once every three years. At any time, two persons may be receiving the fellowship concurrently.
The Award Committee comprises of persons of eminence in the areas of instrumentation, science and technology. It is constituted by AIMIL.
Nominations for the award are invited once every three years by AIMIL from a specific set of eminent persons, including those closely associated with AIMIL.
The recipient is referred to as "AIMIL Distinguished Fellow"
The recipient receives an annual research grant of Rs 200,000/- per annum which can be used for purposes such as purchase of consumables, equipment, hiring manpower, payment of honorarium, enhancement of student scholarships, travel etc. as per norms of the Institute and at the discretion of the Awardee. Unspent balance can be carried over and accumulated.
The recipient receives financial support for the following on an annual basis:
1. travel support for overseas travel as well as for travel within India;
2. manpower support in the form of an attendant and a secretarial/technical assistant;
3. communication/infrastructure support in the form of PC(s), laptop, mobile internet etc (incl. recurring expenses);
4. Local travel / conveyance support;
5. Meetings and other related expenses.
The recipient is expected to (a) provide technical inputs at the Board of Directors meetings of AIMIL (up to 4 times a year) as an invitee, (b) deliver an annual lecture at the Annual General Meeting of AIMIL, (c) give future-vision talks at the four regional offices of AIMIL once a year, (d) provide technical advise on specific matters relating to development of instruments / technology as referred to him and (e) help in selection of recipients of awards and fellowships. The total involvement is expected to be about one day per month.
The fellowship is awarded after the Awardee receives concurrence of his parent organization. The annual research grant is transferred to the Institute. The other facilities are provided in kind or reimbursed by AIMIL; funds for these can also be transferred to the Institute, if overheads are nominal.
