SQI Training Course Machine Vibration Analysis With Emphasis on Signal Processing - Mumbai

This course will cover basics of machine vibration analysis with an emphasis on signal analysis, motor current signature analysis (MCSA), and the variable frequency drive (VFD) interference issues.  I will present the essential mathematical structure of the digital signal processing (DSP) so that you can maximize the benefits of your data collectors and analysis tools.  The aim is to remove some of the misconceptions and myths prevalent amongst the current vibration analysis professionals regarding the signal processing.  The fundamental basis of DSP is digital Fourier transform (DFT) which is based on the sound mathematical structure. By learning it you can understand how the data collectors and software work.  Note that FFT is a just faster algorithm of DSP calculation.  Another important aspect of this practical course is to introduce the induction motor current signature analysis (MCSA) and the VFD interferences issues.
