Analog Extensometer
Analog Extensometer is a sensor of electric current output type to measure displacement on the ground surface. The displacement is measured by change of the wire length between two (2) points that one is at a fixed site and another is at a moving area. Measurement mechanism is simple and the monitoring data is reliable. This instrument monitors the displacement volume and speed at a target site. Hence, it is suitable to use this for observing conditions of the landslide activity and to make an early warning system for saving human life / properties. Monitoring data is read out by electric current with 4 – 20 mA, then this instrument can be connected to a data logger marketed*. To get more reliable data, user can connect this to GSM i-SENSOR Analog 4.1ch of a remote monitoring system.
