In-Place Inclinometer (IPI)
In-Place Inclinometers are meant for measurement/monitoring of near real time lateral displacement of soil, rock and man made structueres. These sensors are installed in borehole (vertical/inclined/downward), through connecting rods, wheel assembles, along with top anchoring ararngement & bottom plug/cap. These are installe every 3m (centre to centre) in the boreholes, and all the cables of the individual In-Place Inclinometer sensors are routed to the top of the borehole, and are terminated in a Data Logger (Data acquisition system), for remote and un-attended monitoring of lateral displacements.
