Preiser Plastometer
The Plastometer series of test instruments, used for the determination of plastic properties of coal by the Gieseler constant-torque method. It is designed to meet the ASTM Standard D-2639 and ISO 10329, providing critical data necessary for the thorough analyses of coking coals. Dilatometer and Plastometer Expansion Kits allow the basic Plastometer to become a multi instrument incorporating a mix of up to 4 selected Dilatometer and/or Plastometer instrument types. Each kit is supplied with its own accessories to allow each unit to act as a stand-alone system. Each system can operate either independently or simultaneously of each other and provide for an increased throughput of sample testing.
