Pull Out Test Apparatus
Pull Out Test Apparatus is used to measure short term strength of an installed rockbolt under field conditions. The strength is measured by a pull test , in which bolt head displacement is measured as a function of applied bolt oad to give a load-displacement curve. The test is usually employed to assess the performance of the Rockbolt Anchor resulting out of the qualitynof material used for the manufacture of Rockbolt and installation method used. The test equipment consists of a manually operated hydraulic pump connected to hydraulic jack, having a high strenthtest rod, copled to the Rockbolt under test.
