Settlement Points
The Surface/ground settlement points are meant for monitoring the settlement of the Ground/Surface using optical means (Total station/Theodolite). These are made of 250 mm long X 25 mm dis, steel rod having a Cross mark on the top. The Cross mark is engraved on the top, duly pained with red colour for clear visibility. The first reading with a Total station acts as a reference reading, and subsequent readings gives the settlement of the Ground/Surface with respect to time.
