SudoScan- early identification and follow-up of Peripheral Autonomic Neuropathies

SUDOSCAN is a non invasive device for early identification and follow-up of Peripheral Autonomic Neuropathies. The test is based on proprietary  SUDOSCAN technolnogy which uses stainless steel electrodes to  measure electrochemical sweat conductance (ESC) in a Sweat Gland Stress Test.In essence, the test measures the ability of the sweat glands to release chloride ions in response to an electrochemical stimulus on the palms and soles.Test results offer a myriad of useful information, such as the actual ESC value,  stage of the neuropathy, the symmetry of measurements across left and right, as well as the risk of cardiac autonomic neuropathy (CAN) and Nephropathy (MDRD).  It  has been tested for small fiber nerve neuropathies in several diseases and compared to guidelines reference tests like Diabetes , Parkinson , Chemotherapy induced polyneuropathy , Familial amyloid polyneuropathy , Fabry disease.
