Reservoir Rim Stability Study

Large hydro projects involve formation of big reservoirs surrounded by a natural Rim with varying gradient and geology. Very often slopes of Reservoir Rim are exposed to massive slides due to saturation or drawdown in reservoir.  The stability study of reservoir rim is therefore an important aspect to evaluate vulnerability assessment of slopes, to analyze quantum of risk involved and to mitigate the risk. Slope Stability Problems

ATES provides design and analysis services for slope stability and landslide analysis and mitigation problems using state-of-the-art software.

An appropriate landslide mitigation plan can be prepared after identifying the potential slope failure, subsidence and mass movement zone. A quantitative risk assessment of landslide prone slopes can also be carried out.

Soil nailing is a slope stabilization or an earth retention technique using grouted tension-resisting steel elements (nails) that can be designed for permanent or temporary support. Soil nails can also be installed in restricted access sites, existing bluffs or retaining wall, and directly beneath existing structures adjacent to excavations.

Traffic Surveys

Traffic surveys are carried out to establish the traffic flow characteristics, travel pattern, User’s route selection and destination information. 

Manual classified counts
For projects that require information such as vehicle classifications, occupancy, direction and interaction with pedestrians, ATES can carry out a manual road traffic survey. 

Video traffic surveys-Metro counts
Metro counts; Video based surveys allows us to capture data in complex situations, such as busy junctions, on motorways or at gyratory systems. 

For both methods, the data collected can be segmented and reported in the best way giving complete control and immediate access to results.
